The Dream Team

The Dream Team

June 13, 2012

It was the summer of 1992 and all of the basketball universe was talking about the Dream Team. Already being called the greatest player to play the game of basketball, Michael Jordan was going to be joining forces with the greatness of Charles Barkley, Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Patrick Ewing. I never did see any games live, but I heard most of the games were greatly in the favor of the Dream Team. These were exciting times for a basketball fan. As a Knick fan, this solidified Patrick Ewing as one of the greatest basketball players ever. He dominated defensively by leading the team in blocked shots and rebounds. Tonight at 9PM on NBA TV, we get to take a look at the practices, games, off court footage, and commentary of arguably the greatest team assembled.
