At the inaugural NBA Social Media Awards that aired Wednesday night on NBA TV, Landry Fields and Jeremy Lin came up winners. Lin added to the Social Breakout Player of the Year award with the EPIC award from his 38 point game against the Lakers. Lin beat out his Knicks teammate, Carmelo Anthony, who was nominated for his 43 point game over the Bulls. Fields was the winner of the Snap Shot Award for posting a picture of the couch that Lin slept on before Linsanity began on Twitter. Fields also beat out a fellow Knicks player, Amare Stoudemire, who posted a picture of a walk with his kids in NYC.
